At least 52 dead in suicide bombing in Pakistan

Pakistani Health officials and police confirmed on Friday that an explosion occurred in proximity to a mosque in Balochistan, a province located on the border with Afghanistan, and resulted in the loss of at least 52 lives and left at least 58 individuals injured.

Balochistan's chief of police said the blast was a result of a suicide bombing and that it also claimed the life of a senior police officer. Officials have declared a state of emergency in the province. No group has taken responsibility for the attack so far.
