At least 63 people were killed in overnight air assaults on Gaza's southern city of Rafah, Al Jazeera reported, citing the Gaza Health Ministry.

The airstrikes targeted two mosques and civilian homes, leaving dozens injured, who were transported to the Kuwaiti Hospital, with hundreds of others fleeing to the hospital to seek shelter, according to the news agency.

"The hospital is full of wounded people in a very dangerous situation, and there is not enough medicine," the Director of the Kuwait Hospital Suhaib Al-Hams stated for Wafa.
