German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock pledged on Tuesday an additional €130 million in humanitarian aid and stabilization funds to Ukraine amid continued Russian military operations.

"Ukraine is ready for an immediate ceasefire," Baerbock stated during her ninth visit to Ukraine since Russia's military campaign began, while cautioning the United States against being misled by Russian President Vladimir Putin's diplomatic "tricks" regarding potential ceasefire discussions in Ukraine.

"Because of the deadlock between the US and Russia, it is absolutely crucial that we Europeans demonstrate that we stand by Ukraine without reservation and support it now more than ever," Baerbock told reporters in Kiev. "The next government will continue massive support for Ukraine," she concluded.
