Hamas may supposedly move HQ from Qatar

EPA-EFE/NOUSHAD THEKKAYIL

Hamas’s political leadership is currently pondering over whether to move its headquarters from Qatar, The Wall Street Journal reported citing Arab officials.

The officials detailed that Hamas already contacted two countries in the region to ask if they would accept the military group's political leadership. One of the countries in question was Oman, an Arab official specified. Hamas is looking to relocate as it believes the ceasefire negotiations will take a while, which could affect its relations with Qatar.

"The talks have already stalled again with barely any signs or prospects for them to resume any time soon, and distrust is rising between Hamas and the negotiators," one Arab mediator told the WSJ.
