Billionaire Elon Musk said he would support Republican Ron DeSantis in the 2024 United States presidential election. He reminded that he was a "significant supporter" of former President Barack Obama and that he "reluctantly" voted for President Joe Biden in 2020 over Donald Trump.

"My preference for the 2024 presidency is someone sensible and centrist. I had hoped that would the case for the Biden administration, but have been disappointed so far," Musk said on Twitter.
