Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin (pictured) warned on Tuesday that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) member states are preparing for war by equipping their infrastructure and their forces, stressing that the ministry had information.
"We are constantly monitoring the situation, we see what they are doing. Based on this, we are developing specific and adequate response measures," the defense minister added.
After discussing military security concerns with the country's president, Alexander Lukashenko, and the security forces, the defense minister disclosed that the parties considered how to respond to "all the threats" that may arise. "We have both the strength and the means for this," Khrenin assured.
