United States President Joe Biden and his Mexican counterpart Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador met on Friday on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation's (APEC) summit to discuss the relations between their two countries.
"Nothing is beyond our reach when Mexico and the United States stand together," Biden said, highlighting the two nations' cooperation on issues such as trade, migration, and arms trafficking. Lopez Obrador also stressed that Biden is the first US president in years to open new legal possibilities for migrants from Central America.
Both leaders cited the US and Mexico as "brotherly" countries.
