Biden, Macron to continue 'working closely' on Ukraine crisis

United States President Joe Biden and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron committed to continue engaging in discussions and tackling the Ukraine crisis's challenges, press releases from the White House and The Elysee said on Monday.

According to the White House, Biden called Macron to congratulate him and took the opportunity to "conveyed his readiness to continue working closely with President Macron" on the "shared global priorities."

The Elysee, on the other hand, emphasized that both sides are committed to continuing "quickly" in the discussion of global issues, including the military operation in Ukraine.
