United States President Joe Biden welcomed on Friday the latest nonfarm payrolls report. "This is a good jobs report for hard-working Americans," he said. "Unemployment is near our record low at 3.5% and 236,000 jobs were added in March - that’s 12.6 million jobs created since I took office."
Biden addressed "MAGA Republicans" in Congress, referring to sympathizers of former President Donald Trump, warning that they are "threatening our economy with default unless we agree to undermine our manufacturing boom and send investments in America overseas." He vowed to "stop any effort to take us back to the failed policies of the past."
