United States President Joe Biden received on Thursday French President Emmanuel Macron at the White House.
The two leaders are expected to hold talks on the current global issues with regard to war in Ukraine, China, and the trade between the US and the European Union. Previously, Macron reportedly raised concerns with Washington's lawmakers over the country's Inflation Reduction Act, stating that the subsidies are "super aggressive for our business people."
"We need to know how to become brothers in arms again," Macron remarked during his visit, while Biden said it is "an honor to welcome" him as France is US' "oldest ally."
