United States President Joe Biden shared his opinion in an exclusive interview with MSNBC on Saturday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is "hurting Israel more than helping" by not paying enough attention to the growing death toll in the Gaza Strip.
"What is happening, he has the right to defend Israel and pursue Hamas," Biden underlined but added that more needs to be done to protect innocent Palestinian lives. The US president mentioned that he advised Netanyahu against repeating Washington's past mistakes, such as pursuing Bin Laden and invading Iraq and Afghanistan.
"The defense of Israel is still critical. So there's no red line [where] I'm going to cut off all weapons so they don't have the Iron Dome to protect them," Biden said, adding that there cannot be 30,000 more Palestinians dead as a consequence of going after Hamas.
