United States President Joe Biden said federal agents are looking into whether the New Orleans ramming attack is connected to the Cybertruck explosion outside of President-elect Donald Trump's Las Vegas hotel.

"There's nothing to report on that score at this time," Biden said during a press conference. Earlier, billionaire entrepreneur and Tesla Inc. CEO Elon Musk suggested the two incidents could "perhaps" be "linked in some way." Biden also stated that he was told by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) that the New Orleans attacker "posted videos on social media indicating that he was inspired by ISIS" and that he "expressed the desire to kill."

He stressed that law enforcement will continue to search for any connections, associations or co-conspirators.
