United States President Joe Biden will announce another $1.01 billion in military assistance to Ukraine as early as Wednesday, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing unnamed US officials familiar with the plan.

The funds are expected to go towards anti-armor and anti-air systems, such as Stingers and Javelins, according to the media outlet.

The news comes after Washington last week allocated $13.6 billion in military equipment for Kiev through a mammoth funding bill.
