Biden to tap Republican, Democrat for SEC posts - report

United States President is expected to nominate Jaime Lizarraga, a Democrat, and Mark Uyeda, a Republican Party member, for posts at the Securities and Exchange Commission, The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Uyeda, is at the moment, "detailed to the Senate Banking Committee," while Lizarraga is a long-time staffer of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Other commissioners of the five-member body are Chair Gary Gensler, Hester Peirce, and Caroline Crenshaw. Allison Herren Lee's term expires later this year.
