United States President Joe Biden agreed with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis's remark that former head of state Donald Trump's economic policies contributed to the subsequent rise in inflation.

"Couldn't agree more," Biden tweeted and shared the video of DeSantis at the Republican Party's debate in Simi Valley, California.

At the debate between seven candidates for the GOP's nominee in the 2024 election, DeSantis stated that Trump added $7.8 trillion to the US debt, which laid the base for the increase in inflation.
