United States President Joe Biden said on Wednesday, answering questions during a press briefing, that he was informed that Russian President Vladimir Putin is "not likely to be there," at the Group of Twenty (G20) summit in Indonesia.
Nevertheless, Biden stressed that he will attend the summit and added that he will discuss with other world leaders what the "next steps might be" when it comes to the war in Ukraine.
"It remains to be seen whether or not there will be a judgment made [if] Ukraine is prepared to compromise with Russia," Biden emphasized. Earlier, it was confirmed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will be taking part in the summit in an online format.
