United States President Joe Biden accused his predecessor Donald Trump of criticizing the proposed bipartisan national security bill to secure the votes in the primaries and caucuses for the 2024 election.
"The Bipartisan Border Security Agreement was on its way to being passed. Then Donald Trump came along and said, don't do that, it'll hurt my election chances," Biden wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"That's a hell of a way to do business in America for such a serious problem. It's time to act," Biden concluded, once again urging the House of Representatives to vote in favor of the bill, which was previously approved by the Senate.
