Richard Teng, Binance's CEO, said on Tuesday that Bitcoin is poised to reach a fresh all-time high in 2025 amid a new push in the crypto market regulations.
Speaking at the World Economic Forum, Teng told CNBC that compared to previous cycles, this "will be a year that we see a new all-time high for the crypto industry." The optimism comes amid a new fresh of regulations that, according to Teng, are now "much clearer."
In 2024, Bitcoin surpassed the psychological threshold of $100,000 for the first time as traders became optimistic about the cryptocurrency industry's prospects under the Trump administration. "So, legislation will be passed, you have pro-crypto regulators being appointed to key commissioner roles in the SEC and CFTC," Binance's CEO added.
