Binance, MasterCard unveil conversion service

Binance Holdings Ltd. announced on Thursday that its users in Europe can now use their MasterCard applications and cards to convert cryptocurrency into fiat currency and withdraw the funds directly.

"The new 'Buy & Sell' service, available on both the Binance website and app, is powered by Mastercard Move, Mastercard’s portfolio of money movement solutions," Binance said in a statement. "The feature lets users choose to either sell their crypto and transfer the fiat balances to their card or withdraw their existing fiat balance to the card."

Recently, MasterCard announced a benefit cooperation with Netflix Inc. and a payment check-easing scheme with PayPal Holdings. Meanwhile, Binance partnered with Circle Internet Group Inc. to facilitate the adoption of USDC stablecoins.
