The world's largest cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, went above the $94,000 mark for the first time ever on Tuesday, continuing the rally that commenced after United States President-elect Donald Trump was confirmed for a second term in the Oval Office.
On November 4, the day before the elections, Bitcoin peaked at $69,438. Since then up until now, its price soared 36%.
After briefly hitting $94,077, Bitcoin surged 3.77% at 2:18 pm ET, going for $93,924. At the same time, Ethereum slid 2.28%, selling at $3,135.
