Cryptocurrencies traded higher on Tuesday as Bitcoin jumped 4% to reach a three-week high after its dominance in the crypto sphere hit the highest level in over two years.
According to CoinMarketCao, Bitcoin's market capitalization as a percentage of the total digital currencies market cap reached 48.5%.
Bitcoin rallied 4.35% over the past 24 hours to go for $27,850 at 2:07 pm ET. The world's most widespread cryptocurrency gained over 7% over the past week. Meanwhile, Ether rose 2.24% to $1,778.73 at the same time.
