Cryptocurrencies rallied on Monday as Bitcoin topped $65,000 for the first time since November 2021 as the most popular digital currency continued to near its all-time high ahead of its latest halving expected in April.
The cryptos were also pushed higher by the rising appetite for Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs), which started trading in January after receiving approval from the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Bitcoin surged 3.22% to sell for $65,181.116 at 3:48 am ET and Ethereum gained 1.13% to go for $3,530.8116 at the same time.
