BlackBerry Ltd. announced that its total company revenue in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2023 was 18% lower compared to the same period a year ago, landing at $151 million.
Operating loss amounted to $499 million in the three months ending with February 28, 2023, compared to operating income of $146 million from the same trimester last year, while net loss stood at $495 million, down from net income of $144 million recorded a year ago. The company's diluted loss per share stood at $0.85, jumping from a loss per share of $0.03.
For the entire fiscal 2023, total net revenue was $656 million, 9% lower than in 2022, while operating loss soared from $2 million to $725 million. Net loss was $734 million in 2023, cratering from a net income of $12 million while diluted loss per share rose from $0.31 to $1.35.
