Blackstone's Q1 revenue decreases to $5.13B

Blackstone Inc. published on Thursday that its first-quarter revenue for fiscal 2022 declined to $5.13 billion compared with the same period last year.

GAAP net income came in at $2.5 billion, and net income attributable to Blackstone was $1.2 billion. Diluted net income per share decreased from $2.46 to $1.66 in the quarter. However, distributable earnings per share jumped 63% to $1.55.

"Our flagship strategies delivered significant outperformance for investors while our powerful platform expansion continued with $50 billion of inflows in the quarter. This translated once again to exceptional financial results for our shareholders," commented Stephen A. Schwarzman (pictured), Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
