Blackstone Inc.'s Chief Executive Officer Stephen Schwarzman (pictured) told CNBC in an interview on Friday that the Federal Reserve is doing a "remarkable job" in its fight against inflation.
He mentioned that even in the current conditions, the United States economy is proving to be resilient, adding that if inflation continues to decline, "we may be able to skirt a recession."
Meanwhile, talking about the latest Fitch Ratings downgrade of the US credit rating, Schwarzman stated that "regrettably ... numbers justify" such a decision.
