Blackstone Inc. is in talks to acquire Civica, an international software business group, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
According to the report, the estimated value of the company is close to $2.5 billion. If the deal is finalized, an official announcement could be made on Wednesday, the sources said.
Earlier today, Blackstone and Permira announced that they will buy Adevinta, a European online classifieds leader, for about $13.06 billion.
