United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken met on Wednesday with Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud (MbS) in Riyadh to discuss the ongoing crisis in the Middle East, namely Israel's conflicts with Hamas and Hezbollah.
"The Secretary emphasized the need to end the war in Gaza, free the hostages, and enable the people of Gaza to rebuild their lives free from Hamas. The Secretary and Crown Prince discussed efforts toward a diplomatic resolution in Lebanon that allows civilians on both sides of the Blue Line to return to their homes," the State Department's statement read.
Earlier in the day, Blinke met and discussed the same issues with the foreign ministers of Jordan and Saudi Arabia, Ayman Safadi and Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, respectively.
