United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Saturday met with Argentine Foreign Minister Diana Mondino in Washington DC.
According to the US State Department, the two discussed enhancing cooperation for a safer democratic hemisphere. "Secretary Blinken commended Argentina for its leadership, including its commitment to Ukraine, and to the promotion of human rights in the Western Hemisphere," it said.
The meeting resulted in the signing of a Framework of Understanding, reestablishing a bilateral High-Level Dialogue. This framework aims to boost cooperation on trade, economic growth and environmental sustainability.
