Blinken to reportedly travel to Israel on April 30

United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken (pictured) is expected to travel to Israel on Tuesday, April 30, to engage in discussions concerning the imminent IDF operation in Rafah, along with efforts to advance a deal to pause the fighting in Gaza and a hostage exchange, Israeli broadcaster Kan reported on Friday.

Earlier today, news agency Al-Araby Al-Jadid from Qatar disclosed that an Egyptian delegation is en route to Tel Aviv to negotiate the updated terms of the proposal aimed at averting Israel's invasion of Rafah.
