United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken will visit Sweden, Norway, and Finland from May 29 to June 2, State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller revealed on Friday.
He will be joined by US Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo and US Trade Representative Katherine Tai at a US-EU Trade and Technology Council meeting in Sweden. After that, Blinken will take part in an informal meeting of NATO ministers of foreign affairs in Oslo, Norway. Finally, the US top diplomat will make a trip to Helsinki, Finland, "where he will highlight our strong bilateral relationship with our newest NATO Ally," according to the State Department.
Blinken is expected to separately meet with prime ministers and foreign ministers of all three countries he will visit.
