Boeing close to sale of 787 Dreamliners - report

The Boeing Company is nearing an official announcement of a deal with AerCap Holdings N.V., under which the American manufacturer will "sell a handful of 787 Dreamliners" to the aircraft leasing company based in Ireland, The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday.

Unnamed sources familiar with the matter told the newspaper that the transaction could be announced later in the day but that it could also change or get canceled altogether.

Boeing's 787 Dreamliner has suffered multiple issues in recent years.
