Shares of Boeing plummeted more than 4% on Monday after the crash of the company's 737-800 plane in South Korea over the weekend.
Jeju Air's 737-800 aircraft crashed while landing at the Muan International Airport. However, no official reason has been given yet. Initial information suggests a landing gear failure could be the reason for the deadly crash. Previously, South Korea's government said it plans to conduct safety inspections of all Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
At 4:06 am ET, the company's shares plummeted 4.14% to sell at $173.23 in premarket in New York.
