At least one dead in airplane crash in Arizona

At least one person has died after two airplanes collided at the Marana Regional Airport in Marana, Arizona, on Wednesday morning, according to the local police department.

The Marana Police Department stated it was currently on-scene at the airport and that while the details are "limited" at this time, at least one person was confirmed deceased. The police confirmed that the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will be responding.

There were two people aboard each of the planes, which were identified as Lancair and Cessna 172, according to Newsweek, which cited an email from the FAA.
