European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell stated on Wednesday that the Ukraine offensive in Kursk has been a "severe blow" to Russian President Vladimir Putin's narrative.
"Lifting restrictions on the use of capabilities vs the Russian military involved in aggression against Ukraine, in accordance with international law, would have several important effects," Borrell remarked on social media.
In that sense, according to the EU representative, support for Ukraine would strengthen Ukrainian self-defense, help save lives, and reduce destruction in the country, thus helping to advance peace efforts.
