Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas secured on Saturday the pole position in the qualifications for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix at Imola.
Bottas came in one-tenth of a second ahead of his teammate Lewis Hamilton, while Red Bull's Max Verstappen got third place.
"Never easy to get pole position but I really enjoyed it around this track. I knew I had to improve on the last lap so I found those little gains. I had those shakes after the final run," Bottas shared after the race.
