Billionaire Richard Branson congratulated his Virgin Galactic team on Sunday after achieving his life-long dream of traveling to space.
"Congratulations to everybody for creating such a beautiful place," Branson said while shaking hands with his teammates aboard the spacecraft VSS Unity. He called today's spaceflight the "experience of a lifetime" as he looked down on New Mexico.
Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk was also present for today's launch, while Amazon founder Jeff Bezos wished Branson good luck as he prepares for his own trip into space on July 20.
