OpenAI Inc. announced on Monday its decision to expand the role of chief operating officer (COO), currently occupied by Brad Lightcap (pictured), to include overseeing the company's business and day-to-day operations.
"Brad will lead our global deployment, focusing on business strategy, key partnerships, infrastructure, and operational excellence to maximize the impact of our research," OpenAI's statement read.
In the same blog post, OpenAI announced that it appointed Mark Chen as chief research officer (CRO) and Julia Villagra as chief people officer (CPO).
