California Secretary of State Shirley Weber revealed in a statement a list of potential presidential candidates the voters will be able to choose from, with former United States President Donald Trump's name on it. This means that he has been left on California's 2024 presidential primary ballot.

Last week, Weber said, while responding to calls to remove Trump from the ballot, that such decisions must be "grounded firmly in the laws and processes in place in California and our Constitution."

Meanwhile, Maine's Democratic Secretary of State Shenna Bellows removed the ex-president from the state's list. Colorado's Supreme Court also barred Trump from appearing on the ballot. However, reports revealed that he might be reinstated.
