Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Director Sergey Naryshkin (pictured) said on Monday that the United States is directing Kiev to maximize mobilization.
According to the published statement, "reliable information" in the possession of Russian intelligence shows the US is doing this so Ukraine can compensate for the "huge losses" suffered by their armed forces during the "failed counter-offensive." The goal is for Kiev to "demonstrate to the international community the impossibility of Russia's victory in the Ukrainian conflict," Naryshkin noted.
It was also reported that the recommendation is for the war-hit country's military and political leadership to lower the conscription age to 17 and raise it to 70, as well as to carry out additional mobilization of women.
