The United States Capitol Police Board has issued an emergency declaration over trucker convoys circling Washington DC to protest pandemic restrictions, CNN reported.
House Sergeant at Arms William Walker announced the declaration, which he said was issued "to ensure that the US Capitol police are able to operate and respond as necessary," according to CNN.
