Canada’s Prime Minister Mark Carney reiterated on Tuesday that should the United States introduce new duties on the products coming from the country tomorrow, Ottawa will respond.
"We are going to be very deliberate in terms of the measures we take to fight for Canada. We will put in place retaliatory measures if there are additional measures against Canada on Wednesday," he underlined at a press conference.
He went on to say that Canadian producers and workers will not be disadvantaged relative to US workers.
