Ukrainian State Emergency Service reported three casualties and more than a dozen injured on Thursday in the attack as a result of an air strike in the northeast region of Chernihiv.
Earlier, the Governor of the Chernihiv Region Viacheslav Chaus said that the Russian forces launched several airstrikes over the region in the night between Wednesday and Thursday. During the attack, two secondary schools were struck, and administrative buildings, while residential homes in the areas near the epicenter of the explosions were also hit.
The region's authorities reported several more attacks by the Russian forces since the beginning of the week. Previously, Moscow confirmed a missile attack in Odessa destroying Ukrainian helicopters stationed in the area.
