China's central bank leaves key rates unchanged

The People's Bank of China (PBoC) left the benchmark interest rates unchanged on Monday, in accordance with market expectations.

The 1-year Loan Prime Rate (LPR) was kept at 3.1% while the 5-year LPR remained at 3.6%.

PBoC's last policy adjustment came in October last year, when it lowered both rates by 25 basis points.
