Caixin China Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) landed at 54.1 in July, signaling an expansion in the country's services activity, according to a report released by the IHS Markit on Thursday.
According to the report, firms were slightly less optimistic when assessing the 12-month outlook for business activity and signaled softer rises in both input costs and output charges.
"Service providers remained optimistic, expressing confidence in the market outlook for the coming year, although they were also concerned about the sustainability of global economic growth," Senior Economist at Caixin Insight Group Dr. Wang Zhe said.
