Chinese Vice Premier Liu He noted on Wednesday that the impact of the phase one trade deal signed between Beijing and Washington will be positive for bilateral relations between China and the US, Xinhua reported.
Liu stressed that trade and economy always played an important role in ties of the two countries.
Optimism in the markets increased this week after the official signing of the phase one trade deal. On Thursday, Liu warned it would be "unwise" to start phase two talks right away, but his comments came after US Vice President Mike Pence claimed phase two talks had already begun.
