The Chinese Commerce Ministry's (MOFCOM) spokesperson Shu Jueting remarked on Thursday that the country is looking forward to United States Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo's (pictured center) visit.
The spokesperson told the media that China and the US are currently in the process of organizing the visit and that further information on it will be revealed timely.
Earlier this week, Raimondo revealed her plans to visit China "later this summer."
