China, Russia, Iran to hold naval drills March 15-19

Chinese Ministry of Defense revealed on Wednesday in a statement that Beijing, Moscow and Tehran will be conducting joint naval exercises from March 15 to March 19.

The maritime drills, under the name "Security Ties-2023," will be held in the Gulf of Oman and are expected to "deepen practical cooperation among the navies of participating countries," the ministry noted.
