China extends business visas to Hong Kong

The Chinese National Immigration Administration announced on Sunday that it is simplifying and extending the business visa process for residents traveling to Hong Kong and Macau. The duration of visas for business travel will be extended from seven to 14 days.

In addition, the residents of Beijing and Shanghai working in several fields including education, healthcare and the law will be able to obtain one- to five-year multi-entry visas to Hong Kong and Macau. The Chinese government also introduced streamlined application procedures, including online applications.
