China launches two satellite-carrying rockets

China's carrier rocket Smart Dragon 3 was successfully launched on Saturday, carrying nine satellites, the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center said. This is the rocket's third takeoff since its maiden flight in December 2022. The launch was performed from a sea platform off the coast of Yangjiang in the Guangdong Province.

Meanwhile, the Long March 2C rocket took off from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in the Sichuan Province. It sent 11 satellites into orbit for the electric car maker Geely.
