China to go ahead with economic policy meeting after all

China has decided to go ahead with its annual Central Economic Work Conference this week despite earlier reports suggesting the key economic policy meeting may be postponed, several media outlets reported on Wednesday citing sources familiar with the matter.

According to the reports, the meeting will be held on December 15 and 16.

Earlier, media reports suggested the conference may be delayed due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases in the country.
